The Xilinx XQR5VFX130 is the industry’s only reprogrammable, high-density radiation-hardened FPGA, part of the Virtex-5QV space-grade family. Built on a 65nm copper CMOS process, it integrates over 131K logic cells, 298 DSP48E slices, 10.5Mb of high-speed block RAM, PCI Express endpoints, tri-mode Ethernet MACs, and up to 24 RocketIO GTX transceivers (up to 4.25Gbps). It provides exceptional SEU and SEL immunity and guarantees a total ionizing dose (TID) tolerance of over 1 Mrad(Si). It is an ideal alternative to ASICs, especially for critical space missions requiring in-orbit reconfiguration and flexibility.
