JR3E5 Series Gas Discharge Tube | 3-Pole GDT Surge Protector for Balanced Signal Line and Industrial Bus Protection
The JR3E5 Series is a 3-pole gas discharge tube housed in a metal-ceramic package, engineered for differential signal line protection in systems such as RS485/RS422 and PoE. With symmetrical protection between line-to-line and line-to-ground, the 3-electrode structure ensures balanced discharge paths and enhanced surge performance. Standard breakdown voltages include 90V, 230V, 350V, 470V, and 600V. Response time is <1ns, surge current handling up to 10kA (8/20μs), insulation resistance exceeds 10⁹Ω, and the device provides low clamping voltage with extended life cycles. Ideal for RS485 buses, CAN lines, PoE ports, industrial controllers, and sensor networks.
