JR2E5 Series Gas Discharge Tube | High-Energy 2-Pole GDT for Power Systems and Energy Storage Surge Protection
The JR2E5 Series is a high-energy 2-pole gas discharge tube (GDT) in a rugged metal-ceramic package, designed for severe surge conditions with surge current handling up to 10kA–20kA (8/20μs). Available in common DC sparkover voltages including 150V, 230V, 300V, 350V, 470V, and 600V, the device offers fast response (<1ns), high insulation resistance (>10⁹Ω), low capacitance, and long-term reliability.
Ideal for use in AC/DC power entry points, energy storage systems, EV charging, DC busbars, industrial control, and electric meters, the JR2E5 Series ensures robust protection against lightning and switching transients.
