The USBLC6-2SC6 from STMicroelectronics is a very low capacitance ESD protection device designed for USB 2.0 high-speed interfaces, 10/100 Ethernet, and video lines. It monolithically integrates two data-line protection channels plus one VBUS clamp in a compact SOT23-6 package, simplifying layout and improving reliability.
The device is optimized to meet IEC 61000-4-2 level-4 immunity and uses very low and well-matched parasitic capacitances (a few pF line-to-ground) to preserve USB D+/D– signal integrity and eye-diagram margin, making it suitable for interfaces requiring both robust ESD performance and clean high-speed signaling.
