JR3E8 Series Gas Discharge Tube | 2-Pole GDT Surge Protector for Telecom and Industrial Overvoltage Protection
The JR3E8 Series GDT is a 2-pole gas discharge tube designed for robust surge and overvoltage protection in telecom and industrial electronics. It features a rugged metal-ceramic construction with a wide range of breakdown voltages (75V to 600V). Upon surge detection, the tube conducts in under 1ns, safely redirecting high current to ground. Surge handling capacity is up to 5kA–10kA (8/20μs), with high insulation resistance (>10⁹Ω) and long operational life. Ideal for POTS/ADSL/xDSL lines, RS485/232/422 interfaces, low-voltage power supplies, alarm systems, metering, and industrial PLCs.
