18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor | 1-Wire Precision Temperature Sensor with Unique Addressing
The 18B20 is a digital temperature sensor based on Maxim/Dallas 1-Wire protocol, offering direct digital output with selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits. It measures temperatures from -50°C to +125°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C in the -10°C to +85°C range.
Each device has a unique 64-bit ROM code, enabling multi-device communication on a single bus. This allows for simplified wiring and reliable MCU/PLC interfacing.
Available in TO-92, stainless steel probe, epoxy-potted, wire-leaded, and SMD versions, the sensor is widely used in cold chain, IoT monitoring, greenhouse systems, battery temperature control, and smart appliances.
